  What can I say?
  
  Muy bueno...
  
  Tried the Borracho (beer battered shrimp), the El Calamar (panko encrusted calamari), the Porky and the chicken tacos.
  
  I couldn't tell which one was better than the other. The carnitas, aka Porky, was excellent a great departure from the usually bland loca carnitas.

  Super bummed. Wanted to stop in tonight at 8:15 for a snack. Their hours say 8:30 but when we got in the woman said they closed at 8:00 tonight.
  
  Not sure I'm willing to make the drive from a few cities over if their hours change on a whim.

  We have all gone to a place and no matter your place in the socioeconomic latter; you feel taken advantage of because of their ridiculous pricing. If you are looking to spent 35 dollars on two burritos at a mostly take out taco joint then have at it. If I want to spent that kind of money for Mexican food I would go to South of Nick's where you at least get ambiance and better tasting food.
  
  Update: just got home with said food. It's the wrong order!

  Located next to the railroad tracks.  Open seating and ordering at the counter and they bring your food to you.  Staff was very nice and helpful.  Food was quick to come out.  We ordered the queso asadero and fresco enchiladas with chicken, nachos chiliquiles, and stuffed pasilla pepper.  
  The nachos were amazing.  Freshly made tortilla chips that are fluffy and not to soggy with just the right amount of cheese.
  Enchiladas were little bit spicy but oh so delicious.  The sauce almost tastes like a mole.
  The pasilla pepper was supposed to be spicy but ended up being a little bit bland, covered with their chipotle sauce and a few shrimp.  Not horrible but probably won't order again.
  Overall pretty good place with a variety of food and I wish I could have tried more but with those few dishes split among 3 I was stuffed!

  Great coco "loco" slushee drinks and really great black bean dip and all around good food selection: this pace is solid. Had the bowl with chicken tinga this past Friday and was completely stuffed. Also caution newbies the coco slushees pack some punch. This is fast becoming a Friday afternoon tradition. Still trying to make it in for taco Tuesday as you get discounts in the drinks and tacos + brilliant combination !
